Slot Machine Myths

Slot Machine Myths
Just like everything else, there are bound to be slot machine myths. Some of the most commonly known myths are mentioned below:-
Myth 1-People think that the slot machines have a particular or set sequence or patterns of spins.
Fact- This is not true as they are actually based on numbers which are picked randomly. The machines generate various combinations of numbers in a minute and cannot be tracked by a human. If you go to track it down, you would need to have a computer that could work extremely fast to determine it.
Myth 2- Someone just hit a jackpot in the same place where I sat, had I been there for a longer time, I would have won it
Fact-People need to understand that this is not at all true, in order for you to win the jackpot you would need to push the button the exact same time the winner did and the same way as even a split second can change the result of the game.
Myth 3- I have not yet hit the jackpot even though I have played on the same machine for quite some time now. I should be hitting the jackpot anytime now
Fact- The matter of the fact is that one may never be able to predict when or who would be the lucky one. Just when you think you may get the jackpot, you may not get it and the very next instance you may. It does not matter how long you have been playing with that particular machine. There is absolutely no guarantee that you may win a jackpot.
Myth 4- I will not play in that particular slot machine as a person has just won the jackpot and it would take some more time for the next winner.
Fact- There is nothing like that; slot machines are designed to average a particular percentage of payout over millions of spins. A person may still be able to hit the jackpot even though someone else has already hit the jackpot.
Myth 5- Another slot machine myth is that Slot machines will pay you more if you bet more that one coin at the time
Fact: - The machine has a mechanism which runs on various slot reels, the machines would not be able to determine how many coins you have. It will still run in the same speed weather it is one coin or many coins as it is a machine at the end of the day.
